What are the benefits of becoming a United States Citizen?
Some of the benefits of becoming a U.S. citizen are:
- Voting- only U.S Citizens can vote in Federal elections and most states restrict the right to vote to U.S. citizens.
- Bringing family members to the United States- citizens usually are given priority when petioning to bring family members permanently to the United States.
- Obtaining citisenship for children born aboard- In most cases, children born aboard to a U.S. citizen are automatically U.S. citizens.
- Eligibilty to apply for Federal jobs- most jobs with government agencies require U.S. citizenship.
- Holding elected office- many elected offices require U.S. citizenship.

The answers to both questions is YES!
There is a new citizenship test that will start in October of 2008. There is also a list of 100 new questions and answers that are available.

Yes! You will need to answer the questions in English. You will also need to write sentences in English.

What is the N-400 form?
The N-400 form is the application for naturalization. The N-400 form provides the INS with a full, truthful biographical profile of the applicant. The N-400 form should be complete and readable to help prevent delays in processing the application.
Once I have completed the N-400, where do I send it?
Depending on which state that you live in, you will be directed to a specific location that has jurisdication over your place of residence. Miss Liberty can answer your question in detail once she knows the state in which you reside.
How can I get a United States Passport?
First, you must be a U.S. citizen. If you are not a U.S. citizen presently, you must complete the process of becoming a U.S. citizen. I can then guide you through the process of obtaining a passport.
